What sets these drones apart is the utilization of the company's groundbreaking Parallel Hybrid technology, which combines internal combustion engines with electric motors.

The innovative design allows these drones to achieve remarkable flight durations, depending on the payload. By incorporating an auxiliary fuel tank, the Firefly drones can remain airborne for up to seven hours. When tasked with carrying a 100 lb (45 kg) payload, they can sustain flight for an impressive two hours, surpassing existing solutions by tenfold. With a reduced payload of 40 lb (18 kg), these industrial drones can fly for four hours, and with a mere 10 lb (4.5 kg) payload, the flight time extends to an exceptional seven hours.

3. SKYFRONT PERIMETER 4 (4H 55 Min)

Introducing the Perimeter 4 by Skyfront, an advanced UAV with a proprietary hybrid power system. With a flight time of up to 5 hours or a range of 110 miles, it offers impressive efficiency. The system achieves over 95% shaft-to-electric conversion efficiency, while electronic fuel injection automates altitude tuning. Just refuel and fly. It uses a lithium polymer battery for 5 additional minutes of flight time and runs on 91 Octane or higher gasoline/petrol. 4. Airborne Vanguard (1H 34Min)

Based in South Africa, this manufacturer is known for their advanced UAVs, including The Falcon. This quadcopter drone is designed for various applications such as wildlife monitoring, security, and inspections. The Vanguard, another impressive creation from the company, boasts cutting-edge specifications and a remarkable control range of up to 35 km.

With a flight duration of 94 minutes, the Vanguard utilizes two batteries simultaneously to achieve its extended operating time. This extended duration is particularly noteworthy in the realm of drones and UAVs, enhancing the Vanguard's capabilities and effectiveness in various scenarios.

5. DJI Matrice 350RTK (55 Min)

This is the latest (July 2023) DJI drone that were published. The 55 minutes of maximum flight time the drone’s TB65 battery can offer is certainly impressive. But what’s more impressive is how much longer this drone’s battery lasts. The M350 RTK’s new TB65 battery has an 100%-increased battery cycle count. In short, it can be charged up to 400 cycles.

The drone also has a dual-battery system, and supports battery hot swapping (which means the drone can take multiple flights without powering off entirely, as long as you switch the batteries one after the other).

Here are the estimated charging times needed to charge two TB65 Intelligent Flight Batteries:

With a 220V power supply: Approximately 60 minutes to fully charge and approximately 30 minutes to charge them from 20% to 90%.
With a 110V power supply: Approximately 70 minutes to fully charge two TB65 Intelligent Flight Batteries and approximately 40 minutes to charge them from 20% to 90%.
This drone also supports the TB60 Intelligent Flight Battery, though if you’re using dual batteries, you can’t mix the 65 and 60 versions while in use.

6. DJI M30T (41 min)

Often crowned as the best public safety drone, DJI M30T. You can fly the M30/M30T for up to 41 minutes with 15 m/s wind resistance, 7000m Service Ceiling and a max speed of 23m/s meaning that you can use your drone for a long time before it runs out of battery.
