Tethered Tests

Before we ship our products to your location, we always make sure to test them first to see what problems still remain. This goes for the V-Line as well. We had an order of 3 V-Lines placed early in 2020, so before we deliver, we did a couple of tests on these tethered Mavic 2 systems.

I cannot disclose any of the test information, of course. However, with the help of our CTO Joshua, we took a couple of cool photos for this article to let you have a better sense of our product.

Since I cannot reveal the test results, I can help explain informally the specs of V-Line that you frequently ask:

Tether Cable Length: 60m. Therefore, it can reach and hover at 60m (if there is no wind, of course).

Flight time per 6 batteries (one set): about 2h 15mins

Flight time with AC Adapter and power supply: indefinite!

Auto Tension: automatically adjust tether cable tension to prevent fly-away drone incidents. That means you don’t need to be at the tethered station to control. Just worry about your DJI Mavic 2, V-Line handles the rest!

Dimensions of the whole tethered drone box: 476 mm x 480 mm x 310 mm. Did you know it can fit any car trunks?
